Beyond TCA™

Our approach to transaction cost management focuses on assisting traders and portfolio managers identify actionable steps on a pre-trade and real-time basis that will reduce both the magnitude and variance of transaction costs. In addition, traders and portfolio managers receive information that helps them evaluate trends in transaction costs and areas of strength and weakness. Our approach is unique and based our proprietary research and tested against tens of thousands actual orders. We avoid the usual pitfalls of the conventional top-down approaches.

MktImpact™

We offer our market-impact model through a stand-alone library. It is very important that transaction-costs be taken into account during portfolio construction or rebalance. Our market-impact models allow you to evaluate various execution scenarios and may be included in a number of different ways into your portfolio construction process. An important distinguishing feature of our market-impact models is that the assumptions underlying the models take into account the ‘real-world’ (e.g. no normal distributions etc.) and the prediction results are tested against hundreds of thousands of actual orders.
