Position:

The role of Algorithmic strategy analyst and developer is to assist in the design, development and testing of algorithmic trading strategies and development of state-of-art transaction cost analysis modules (TCA) for global equities, options, futures and f/x.  The work involves working closely with clients (Hedge funds, CTAs, Prop desks) and internal analysts.

Tethys is looking for highly motivated individuals with an outstanding quantitative background.  Candidates should ideally have a master’s or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field (preferably statistics or quantitative finance).  Exposure to financial statistics, econometrics, optimization theory and derivatives pricing is desirable.  The candidates should have a strong facility with computing.  They should have worked with R and/or Python.  Good knowledge of SQL, C++ and/or C# will be a plus.

An ideal candidate would also possess:

  • Strong quantitative and computing skills
  • Knowledge of time series analysis, statistical inference, machine learning and stochastic finance is required. 
  • Knowledge of derivatives pricing will be a big plus.
  • Deep interest in finance
  • Strong team-skills

Position:

Support Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide trading related technical and analytical support to global multi-asset clients
  • Develop an understanding and thereafter guide clients about working of trading algorithms and transaction cost analysis
  • Liaise with Application Developers to find resolutions for reported software problems and to ensure that change requests are managed effectively
  • Implement, test, and certify FIX connections between clients and vendors
  • Install and configure software platform to client specifications
  • Manage and implement roll-outs and upgrades of our advanced financial trading system
  • Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction

Experience/Skills:

  • Previous experience supporting electronic trading operations is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Familiarity with FIX, algorithmic trading and securities markets is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Must have an interest in financial markets and trading.
  • University graduate with solid grades and a Finance or MIS degree
  • Good computing skills. Experience with SQL will be a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and systematic approach to learning and work.

Qualifications:
